Our favourite place to take a family holiday has been Sandy Balls for the last few years. It is set in the New Forest and you get to see wild ponies and donkeys walking round freely. We love it and the boys love it.
Because we are money-savers we have historically gone on holiday in early January when you get the cheapest possible prices. Now the boys are both in school, we are unable to do that anymore. The New Forest is pretty expensive so I think next time we go there, we will have to camp!
This year we spent a night at the Legoland hotel after Christmas to give the boys a treat. The conditions there were pretty shocking and dirty but the children loved it and giving them happy memories is something really important for me. We would rather travel to a different country for a visit to Legoland than ever go back to the resort though.
